Girls’ Basketball Tour: CMCS Surprises KMS, 54-41

Jan. 30 – KERCHHOVEN – Central Minnesota Christian women’ basketball produced one in all their greatest performances of the season, defeating Kerkhoven-Murdock-Senberg 54-51 on Monday.

The loss ended a five-game successful streak for KMS (7-2 Camden North, 15-4 total). CMCS (3-3 Camden North, 7-11 total) has gained six of their eight matches.

Sienna Doink led the Blue Jays with 19 factors, 9 rebounds and 4 assists, and teammate Lauren Tatjes added 10 factors.

Acelynn Hacker had 22 factors and three steals for the Preventing Saints.

CMCS will face Dawson Boyd at 6 p.m. Thursday in Dawson. KMS performs Renville County West at 7:30pm Thursday in Renville.
